We have been the lead firm in assailing executive actions in terms of Notifications, Trade Notices, Circulars, and executive Orders by the Government of the day. These pertained to: i) the ban on the use of plastic for packaging food products; ii) sale of imported plant and machinery while the assessment proceedings under the Customs Act were pending; iii) imposition of arbitrary and onerous conditions for provisional assessment while importing marble; iv) the imposition of ban on the manufacture and sale of tobacco products; and many more.
